One of my favorite places for book recommendations outside of my fellow Book Bloggers is BookPage. BookPage is a monthly book review publication distributed to more than 450,000 avid readers through subscribing bookstores and public libraries. Founded in 1988 and located in Nashville, TN, BookPage serves as a broad-based selection guide to the best new books published every month. The tone is upbeat and literate, focusing on bestsellers as well as new discoveries. All of the content from the print edition is posted on bookpage.com each month.
BookPage’s goal is to recommend the best books for readers of all types, whether you’re interested in literary fiction or romance, history or science fiction, cookbooks or children’s books. We focus on new releases and tailor our reviews for the general reader the true booklover always on the lookout for the next great read.
I’m lucky in that BookPage is provided to me each month free of charge by my local library. For that reason, you’re sure to see me there around the first of every month. BookPage is really the only printed periodical I read faithfully each issue. In addition to book recommendations and reviews by genre, BookPage features interviews with authors and regular monthly features. It’s one magazine where I actually spend time looking over the advertisements, too! BookPage has a great website and, if you Like them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter, you’ll get some great bookish information 24 hours a day.
I love my library and it’s no hardship to plan a trip there at the beginning of the month, but how great would it be to receive a copy in the mail each month? One lucky Book Blogger is about to find out.
BookPage is sponsoring BBAW by providing one US Book Blogger a 1 year subscription to BookPage and a 5 book grab bag from the winner’s favorite genre! How’s that for some recommendations?

I love BookPage and I’m always so bummed when my library runs out of copies.
