Book Cover Scavenger Hunt

How well do you know your book covers?  Below are six snippets of six random book covers.  Five of them have been given away at some point this week.  Your task, if you choose to accept it, is to determine which books these images come from.  All you have to do is name the book.  It’s that easy.  Well, it’s not considering all of these are from six random genres as well.  I wasn’t going to make it THAT easy.  However, you do get the hint of when the five books were given away.  You’ll get a hint for the sixth one as well, but I’ll give you another one - Sea Monsters!

So you’re probably wondering what you get if you win, right?  Check out this prize packet (and no, none of these novels are the images):
First Place:

  • Signed copy of Drawn Into Darkness by Annette McCleave
  • Girl with a Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier
  • Simon’s Cat by Simon Tofield
  • The Book of Calamities by Peter Trachtenberg (hardback)

Second Place:

  • Signed copy of Doomed Queens: Royal Women Who Met Bad Ends, From Cleopatra to Princess Di (Broadway Books)
  • Amigoland By Oscar Casares
  • Mr. Darcy, Vampyre by Amanda Grange

Third Place:

  • Anthology - Must Love Hellhounds
  • The Historian By Elizabeth Kostova

Five Runner-Ups will get a copy of Evenings at the Argentine Club by Julia Amante
