I would love to see Dan Brown write about a different culture - Druids or even Area 51.  He’s a great conspiracy writer and tends to do a decent job with research.  Any one of those could be intriguing if done properly.

Hmmmm….I love the conspiracy theories.  How about the Kennedy Assassination?

Hmmm… let see Pompeii would be interesting.

Hmmm….how about the moon landing?  He could claim it was a fake perpetrated by the Catholic church!

I think his next book should be about Jewish mysticism.  I would love to see how he would weave that into a page turning tale.

I think he should write about the Lost City..Atlantis!!!

I almost wonder what he’d do with a novel of the fantasy genre.

I would love him to delve into the Bermuda Triangle.

An intriguing mystery that takes the book blogging community by storm, penetrating the once welcoming worlds of twitter and facebook, wordpress, and blogger… pitting bloggers against each other in a furious show of…  Oh, I don’t know, but I tried.

I would love for him to write something about Stigmata.  Since it’s so deeply religious and so many believe it, yet some call it a fake.

Hmm, maybe some Skull & Bones-type secret society.

I’d like to see something that involves the common roots of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam.

I’m with Michelle (above).  I think he should write about the Druids or Stonehenge.  His take on the true purpose of Stonehenge would be interesting!

Since I can’t think of anything original, I’m going to be a copycat and say the Bermuda Triangle. 

Please include me and because I’m not feeling original this morning, I’m going with the above idea of conspiracy theories!!!

Dan Brown is best when he’s approaching something that interests him (aren’t we all), but if he was considering a topic to research, I think the Incan Empire would be a great place to start.  There are so many potential plot ideas there!

Maybe he should write about…I can’t think of anything.  I’m sure there are tons of conspiracy theories and secret societies out there that have lots of interesting possibilities.

I think he should write about something based in Africa.

I like Allison’s Atlantis idea.  I’m sure he could churn out a real page-turner involving ancient Mediterranean secrets.

I think it would be fun for him to write about a society like in the Tap & Gown novels - their rituals, secrets, etc! I’d especially love it if it was based on a college campus like those novels

How about the Dead Sea Scrolls?  He should branch out and do one for Historical fiction fans!

In The Historian, Kostova writes about the secret society Order of the Dragon.  I’d love to see what Brown could do with that one!

I love Dan Brown’s books.  I would love to see him do something with the pyramids or Mayan culture.
Some others have some great ideas ahead of me.
